Children’s Support Group

Children grieve the loss of siblings, friends, and parents, but there are no directions on how to grieve, and how to express grief and pain.  The young have a more limited vocabulary in grief, and expressing this grief is important in the healing process.  Children grieve differently than adults, and this difference is appreciated by Families Helping Families.  The Children’s group offers a variety of approaches to help children (ages 7 - 17) cope with their grief including:

- Group discussion, activities, music and art therapy
- Being with others who have shared the same loss
- Discover inner strengths for coping with grief
- Developing strong tools to help children and teens handle their grief
- Finding safe ways to release the pain and anger of grief

This group meets several Friday evenings each month at The Jenna Druck Foundation office, please view our schedule for the date of the next Children’s group.

All Children are welcome to attend at no charge.
