Parent Support Group

Thursdays 6:30pm – 8:00pm

Each Thursday night parents come together in this peer facilitated support group which serves as a lifeline to many during the darkest hours and days of the most tragic loss of a child.

(except for holidays – we will be closed for Thanksgiving and Christmas)

Children & Teens Support Group – “Expression Sessions”

Thursdays 6:30pm – 8:00pm (two times a month)

Children 17 and under who have experienced the loss of a loved one are invited to join our art therapy based Support group facilitated in partnership with the art program “ARTS – A Reason to Survive” Pre-registration required.

Grief Education Workshops

3rd Wednesday of each month 6:30pm-8:00pm

Mom’s Night Out Potluck Dinner

November 7, 2008 6:30pm

FHF Bereavement Facilitator annually hosts this very special evening in her home and dedicated the time to creating a safe and supportive space to be together as mothers who have experience the tragic loss of a child. Bring you son’s or daughter’s favorite food, your own beverage of choice, and a flower to share. RSVP to save your space and to receive directions.

Mom’s Support Group

Dad’s Support Group

Often there is a very unique experience for the father who has lost a child as they are often seen as the strong one who holds everything together for the family, many times without intention Dad’s are not given the opportunity to express and process their grief. Bereavement

Specialist Dr. Ken Druck facilitates this important group.
